Q. How long does it take to get my pet care certification?
A. Most of our enrollees are certified in less than 30 days.
Q. How do I enroll?
A. Click the checkout link at the bottom of any page on this site. You'll be taken to the secure checkout site at psucheckout.com. When you click on the pet care link, you will see the options for certification packages. Once you buy, you'll receive an email link for your materials within three business days.
Q. Does anyone flunk?
A. No, your advisor works with you until you're fully certified.
Q. Can anyone get bonded from PSU?
A. You cannot get bonded if you have been convicted of a felony. Misdemeanors, DUI's, etc. do not matter.
Q. Do I need any special tools or equipment to enroll?
A. No, in fact, once you are certified, you can buy any supplies you need wholesale, and resell them to your customers at a profit.
Q. Does PSU provide outplacement?
A. Yes, you are listed on our referral list for your zip code after you're certified. However, most of your business will be local, from yellow pages ads and other references.
Q. If a customer asks about my status, what does PSU provide?
A. We let all your customers know about your certification and bonding, by request and upon approval by you.
